APlasma fibroblast skin tightening is a non-surgical treatment that targets skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin imperfections using a controlled electric arc (plasma energy). This arc is created between the device tip and the skin's surface, causing immediate tissue contraction and collagen stimulation.
Commonly treated areas include:
Upper/lower eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty)
Crow’s feet
Forehead lines
Frown lines
Nasolabial folds
Marionette lines
Neck and jawline
Loose stomach skin
Stretch marks & skin tags
Acne scars and pigmentation irregularities
How It Works:
The plasma device creates a precise micro-trauma to the skin’s surface. This triggers the body's natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production, tightening the skin and reducing visible imperfections over time. Tiny scabs form and fall off within days, revealing smoother, firmer skin beneath.
Benefits:
Non-invasive alternative to surgery
Immediate skin tightening effect
Stimulates natural collagen production
Minimal downtime compared to surgical procedures
What to Expect:
Mild swelling, redness, and scab formation are normal post-treatment.
Healing typically takes 5–10 days depending on the treatment area.
Results improve over the following weeks as collagen remodeling occurs.
A course of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.
Plasma Fibroblast Aftercare Advice
To support healing and optimise your results, please follow the aftercare advice below carefully.
Immediately After Treatment:
Small carbon crusts (scabs) will form at the treatment site – these are part of the normal healing process and must not be picked, scratched or rubbed.
Mild swelling, redness and a tingling sensation is normal and typically subsides within 2–5 days.
Swelling may be more noticeable around the eyes and can take up to 7 days to resolve.
First 48 Hours:
Keep the area dry and avoid touching it unnecessarily.
If cleansing is required, do so gently using cooled boiled water and clean gauze – do not use cleansers, wipes, or exfoliants.
Avoid makeup on the treated area.
Apply the prescribed healing balm (if provided) as directed – usually once or twice daily.
Sleep on your back with your head elevated to help reduce swelling.
Ongoing Healing (up to 10 days):
The carbon crusts will fall off naturally within 5–10 days. Do not force their removal.
Avoid:
Hot baths, steam rooms, saunas, and swimming pools
Sun exposure and sunbeds
Vigorous exercise or sweating for 48 hours
Once scabs have shed, use SPF 50 daily on the area for at least 12 weeks to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Refrain from using retinols, acids, peels, or active skincare on the treated area for at least 2 weeks.
What to Expect:
The area may appear pink or slightly shiny once scabs shed – this is new skin and will gradually return to normal tone.
Final results develop over 6–12 weeks as collagen continues to remodel.
A course of treatments may be recommended for deeper lines or skin laxity.
